Spelthorne Talking News provides a free weekly audio magazine for blind and partially sighted people living in or adjacent to Spelthorne. The programme is recorded on Thursday each week. We make copies on Friday and every listener should receive the "Newspaper on a CD" in Saturday’s post. SSFV have helped over 150 residents with cleaning and removal of slurry We are currently removing debris from our local water ways. Spelthorne's Sunbury Flood Volunteers/Rescue Unit has been developing for 12 months to provide initial training to individuals in Module 1 Water Awareness safety.
Known as SCORA, we are a non-political residents' Association covering an area in Sunbury North of the M3 Motorway to the Borough Boundary; for from the East side of Cadbury Road to the Borough Boundary. Working for the benefit of those residing in the area and improvement of the environment.
Manor Players of Sunbury meet at Riverside Arts Centre, 59 Thames Street, Lower Sunbury, Middlesex, TW16 5QS, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 19:30 hours. Everyone welcome from all ages.
Riverside Arts Centre is home for Sunbury & Shepperton Arts Association and provides a base for groups who participate or support the arts. Groups who meet regularly at the Arts Centre include art groups drama, music, literary groups and various others. Membership is open to all either via one of the affiliated groups or by becoming an associate member.
